Revenge of the Return of the Dartbags: Part 2!!!

Well, the new season is upon us -- and faster than we expected. Starting just two days after St. Paddy's Day does not give a Dartbag much time to recover. But we will overcome this... somehow.

The 'Bags have made a rare roster move. Marty, a.k.a Farticus, original Dartbag and man credited with creating the team motto -- "Most Drinkin'est and Friendliest Dart Team in NYC"-- is moving from active status to reserve status. It is not easy to rule the seemy Brooklyn underworld and stay on top of your dart game. But Farty assures us he will be there to "drink beers and monkey around" regularly.

So we have that goin' for us.

Which is nice.

Replacing him on active duty will be this man: Mike "Gins" Ginsberg.

Gins grew up in the rough and tumble Fox Meadow section of Scarsdale where fightin' and drinkin' were a way of life. You can see that toughness today in his steely glare and brooding presence. Gins stands for all things Dartbag; beer, darts, good fellowship, and beer. He will make a welcome addition to the squad.

Will Cup return? We don't know. He was last sighted off the coast of Key West, running arms to anti-Castro rebels. (See Cup-date below). The ABP has been put out, but if my biggest worry was figuring out how to get a Margarita stain out of a linen shirt... I probably wouldn't be coming back to NYC anytime soon.

There are other questions, as yet without answers. Will Colin break out Ol' Rusty this year? Will Pike kill the dreaded thumb demon once and for all? Can BFT retain the inner fire after achieving entry into George Keeley's vaunted "100 Beer Club"? The answers to these and other questions can be found each week, right here on this humble blog. We extend to you a standing invitation to tune in and find out.

On a closing note; We are in A-3 this year people... can we finally kick someone's ass now, please?

That is all.
